On the farm homestead, Grandmother and Granddaddy Tate would make a huge home cooked meal at noon each day that they called “dinner”.  Friends were always welcome and many times there was more to eat than there were seats, but there was always plenty of home cooked food.  Everyone visited as they passed the dishes around the table.  In the spirit of that tradition, our family introduced Tate’s Table in 2022 as a seasonal treat, offering a family-style meal serving our family recipes, many of which have come from our friends through the years.

If you have ever had the pleasure of visiting Miss Mary Bobo’s in Lynchburg, TN, then you’ll find a similar heartwarming experience here at Tate’s Table.  You can book a single seat or an entire table for your family and friends.  All seats are filled at a table of 8, so you will make new friends if you don’t book an entire table.
